I hate to be the one to tell you, but NATO isn’t siding with Nazis to “get back at Putin”. They have been openly incorporating Nazis into their ranks from day one.

NATO is an organization that was born to combat the USSR and now exists to combat Russia and China. Their goal is to fight communism and ensure Western (especially US) imperial dominance. If they have to fight alongside Nazis to do that, then they’ll gladly do it. To the capitalist West, Nazism has always been preferable to Communism.
